I did it my way... There is a movement in the world, that says we just have to be spiritual, to get to Heaven. The world tells us that there are many ways to Heaven and you can choose your own path. The BIBLE tells us in Matthew 7:14, Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. John 14:6 tells us that Jesus is that straight and narrow path, the ONLY path. In Romans, the Bible lays out the plan of salvation, often called the Romans Road. Romans 3:23 tells us we are all sinners. Romans 6:23 lays tells us we deserve death because of our sins, but since God is a loving God, He has provided us with a GIFT of salvation. Ephesians 2:8 explains to us that this gift is given to us and that we don't work for it or earn it. Gifts aren't gifts if we earn them or have to pay for them. Gifts are given, and not taken back. A gift is a done deal, as John 10:29 tells us. Romans 10:9&10 says that to receive this gift, you just have to have faith that Jesus is the Way. This means you believe Jesus came to this earth, the Son of God, born of a virgin birth and died on the cross to save you and He arose again on the 3rd day. Romans 10:13 is where it happens. Call upon the name of the Lord and you will be saved. Just bow your head and close your eyes and tell God that you believe. Confess you are a sinner, and ask forgiveness. That's it! For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:Ephesians 2:8! You just received the eternal gift of salvation!! Your salvation is a one and done deal! You are sealed forever. God has taken you from Satan and given you to Jesus. The Bible tells us that once this is done, no man can pluck you from Jesus' hand!! That means that no matter what YOU do from this day on, as long as you have accepted Jesus as your Savior, YOU can not pluck yourself from His hand! My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.John 10:29 If you just read through this and prayed this prayer, please let us know.
